Art is a trade 6th sept 2026
A day to remember
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to ART IS A TRADE at Banana Block.
It was fantastic to see so many makers, artists, craftspeople and creative people coming together to share skills, experiences and conversations about making a living through creativity.
We're especially grateful to Belfast Bank of Ideas for funding and supporting the event, helping make the day possible.
I've added some photos from the day below. Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, exhibited, demonstrated, spoke, volunteered, or simply came along to support the idea that creative work matters and that art is a trade.
We hope the connections and conversations started on the day continue long into the future.
